Life is such that all of us come into the world with individual challenges which I think are meant to make us stronger and wiser. But these challenges are not always easy to work through nor are their lessons easy to learn. I get inspired when I see those people who are able to work through the challenges which might seem insurmountable at first. I have been a friend, companion and sister to many young people who are silenced by all sorts of trauma in different levels. I am really into peer-counselling. This means I have to be the 'voice' of reason to someone who feels trapped and sees no escape. This also means that as a young person myself, I have to lead by example and practice what I preach.
